Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of seatory.app (the "Service"), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Elena Kolodyazhnaya ("SEATORY", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SEATORY provides online tools for planning events: a seating chart designer, printable exports and guest pages where guests can find their seat. Some features are free; others are paid one-time purchases for a specific event, described in section 6.

2. Your account

  • You need an account with a valid email address to use most features.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity in your account.
  • Don't provide false information or use someone else's account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload offensive, unlawful or misleading content;
  • attempt to disrupt the Service, gain unauthorized access or bypass free plan limits by technical means;
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.

4. Your content

You own the content you add — guest lists, seating charts, texts and images — and you are responsible for it. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and your guests.

Guest lists contain personal data about other people. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to use it; how we handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law and will let you know when we do.

5. Guest pages and links

  • Anyone with the link or QR code to your guest page can open it.
  • You decide who receives the link and are responsible for sharing it.
  • Changing a custom short link makes the previous link stop working.

6. Paid features and payment

  • SEATORY Plus removes seating chart limits for one event: unlimited guests, RSVP tracking, high-resolution export and collaboration.
  • SEATORY Code unlocks the guest experience for one event: QR code, guest page with a seat finder, schedule and menu.
  • Prices are shown in USD before you pay and may include applicable taxes.
  • All purchases are one-time payments per event. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • A purchase is activated for the selected event as soon as the payment is confirmed.

7. Refunds

We want you to be happy with SEATORY. If a paid feature isn't right for you, email support@seatory.app within 14 days of purchase with your event name and payment date.

  • If you haven't used the paid features, you'll receive a full refund.
  • Otherwise, we'll review your request fairly and may issue a full or partial refund.
  • We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; banks usually take 5–10 business days to show them.

8. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, templates and branding belong to SEATORY and are protected by law. You may use them only through the Service. Printable exports may be printed in any quantity for your own event.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Please double-check important details — such as final seating — before your event.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEATORY is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version at seatory.app/terms and notify you by email of significant changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
